“BSI TAKE BIBLE CLOSER TO THE PEOPLE, PEOPLE CLOSER TO THE BIBLE”!
There are so much exciting things happening at the BSI. It’s always a joy to share about the work of the Bible Society of India.
Rev. Moses Devadason, secretary, BSI Tamilnadu Auxiliary Shared about BSI ministry at in the Alumni meeting at Tamilnadu Theological Seminary, Madurai.
It was an opportunity to share about t BSI to more than 200 Pastors from various Dioceses. Rev. Moses presented the various opportunities and challenges for Bible distribution and advocacy. He appealed to the pastors to continue to support Bible Society.
BSI continues to work alongside the Churches to take the Bible to people who want to own a copy. The work of the Bible Society is strengthened by the churches. We thank all the pastors who have pledged their support to the BSI.
INAUGURATION OF THE NEW BRANCH IN KARUR
We thank God for enabling the BSI Tamilnadu Auxiliary to organise a new BSI branch in Karur. The Karur Branch was inaugurated at CSI Little Henry Church on the 2nd of April 2018. Around 160 people from various denominational churches attended the inauguration event.
The strength of our BSI Auxiliaries is in the branches. Rev. Moses, Secretary BSI Tamilnadu Auxiliary is enthusiastic about the new branch. ” This branch will further help us to advance the Vision and Mission of the BSI. The branches under the Tamilnadu Auxiliary have been generous in their financial support and I am sure we will be able to raise considerable contribution this year to support the work of the BSI. Already we have been able to raise Rs 50000 in the first meeting itself”, he said.
We pray for God’s blessings on all the branch officers and the members of the Karur Branch. May God help the branch to bear much fruit and advance the Bible cause!
