We will start the bicentenary celebrations from 20th May 2020.

The Bible Society of India, we are constantly searching for new ways to share Bible message in Indian languages. In order to cater to the needs of the large number of illiterates, non-readers and neo literates we provide the Word of God in audio and video forms. We have also pioneered the development of a wide range of new Scriptures for different audiences like the visually challenged, terminally ill, victims of HIV, semi-literate and rural audience, hearing impaired etc.

The goal of the Bible Society of India:

‘God’s Word should reach all people,’ – is our goal.
With this in mind, the Bibles are produced in each one’s own mother tongue, in the format they prefer and in the price they can afford. This divine work of the Bible Society of India is continuing its yeoman service since 200 years. Bible Society of India is also the handmaiden of the churches in India, and caters to the needs of all the churches in India. With non-profit motive, the Bible Society of India is giving out its divine services to God’s people and also with full commitment.

The Auxiliary has 200 branches functioning voluntarily all over Tamilnadu and Pondicherry to support BSI work in distribution, creating awareness about the Bible work, organizing Bible Engagement programs and mobilizing resources. There are Lakhs of People who are unable to hear and speak for, this special audience we are producing the Scripture in both Audio and video format.

The Christians in Tamilnadu have always come forward in generosity in supporting the Bible cause, irrespective of their denominations helping in Fundraising and Distribution. Many of the individuals are supporting for printing and supplying of Braille scriptures.
